Project Goals
Cloud Parking is an intelligent parking system with Car2X communication and the system of the future. Thanks to CloudParking, we will be spared the long search for a parking space. The intelligent system shows us only the parking spaces that match our size and tells other drivers the estimated time of departure. To make sure that the desired parking space is available every day, they can be rented as well as shared in case of absence. Time-saving services such as refuelling, washing, repairing and monitoring are also possible directly at the parking spaces. With the help of communication between vehicles and infrastructure, data will be exchanged and processed in real time in the technologically advanced cities of the future. Relevant private data such as appointment times and addresses are shared in the cloud and used for public evaluations. Payment is made automatically via the cloud.

This project, which was created as a concept, was developed in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam (FHP) and Volkswagen Design, Wolfsburg (VW).
